What is RSS? by Dr. S L Dhani

May I attempt a brief answer to the question as to what is RSS?

1. Its founder was an associate of Mahatma Gandhi as congress man;

2. Mahatma Gandhi was a moderate who wished the British to stay as rulers of India as long as they wished to stay. As such, the policy of RSS was also the same;

3. Gandhi had been allowed to works as the sole representative of orthodox Hindus for the purpose of getting maximum concessions for them from the British rulers;

4. Gandhi failed to serve the best interest of Caste Hindus with the result that Communal Award came to be announced in 1932;

5. Even its modification through Poona Pact conferred human rights to the erstwhile untouchables to the utter display of Hindu Mahasabha and RSS;

6. Therefore, the two bodies withdrew from the non serious Congress fight for freedom in 1934;

7. Thus, the caste Hindus practically took a vow not to fight the British Empire;

8. RSS adopted the British dress of half Khaki pants in order to indirectly assure the British of their loyalty;

9. The British feared the violent Muslims most and they wished to create a Hindu body to fight them in case of need, so that the rulers could remain in the background and act as referees;

10. Arya Samaj another body of caste Hindus had withdrawn from Gandhi in 1922.
Thus, the credit for winning freedom does not go to caste Hindus; and Caste Hindus create their Senas primarily to thwart the fight for freedom of the Dalits and the RSS and its associates believe in terrorizing the Dalits so that Muslims also feel terrorized.
