Lower Caste Hindus of Haryana Again Cheated by the Indian Government on the Eve of Independence day - by Nikhil Sablania

15th August 2012, New Delhi. Two days back the Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Castes of Bagana village of district Hisar of Haryana state in India, finished their eighty five days protest in Delhi and Hisar against the caste atrocities by the Jat caste in the village after an important meeting. It was decided that the state government will cancel the fraud land allotment of the community (shamlat) land of the village, that the government will provide rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand to each family as compensation for the losses they had to suffer due to caste discrimination, that the government will demolish the wall constructed by Jat caste in front of Chamar caste homes, that the state government will take strict actions against the caste atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Backward Castes in the state, that the unemployed youths will be provided jobs in the state government, that a proper compensation would be given to the family members of Scheduled Caste member Raj Kumar who committed suicide due to unemployment in the state and that the MNREGA will be implemented to benefit the lower caste Hindus (Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Castes). The meeting was attended by Virender Bagoriya, leader of Sarwa Samaj Samiti (Bagana village), Jagdish Sandhu (secretary from village committee) and Dr PL Punia, Chairman National Commission of Scheduled Castes, Amit Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner of Haryan and Secretary of Haryana Government.

But this can also be said that the government has escaped from getting any blame from media and international agencies on the eve of Independence Day for not solving caste atrocities even after sixty five years of getting power from British government. It is important to know here that the problem of not solving caste atrocities was one of the biggest roadblock in the path of upper caste Hindus party ‘Congress Party’ in getting power in their hand from British and that they solved this problem by various purity movements like Arya Samaj movement or Gandhi’s jabardasti chipko andolan (adamantly sticking to untouchables) to lower caste Hindus to show the British and the world that they have a majority that they claim Hindu majority, which was a myth created by using mass media propaganda by Brhamin and other upper caste Hindu media to fool the world so as to get power in the hands of upper caste Hindus. Failure of showing their majority would have lead to the government of India going into the hands of Muslims who were better in numbers as untouchables, tribal and backward are not part of Hindu (Brhamin) religion. Thus, the smart Congress Party government has again cheated Scheduled Caste and Backward Castes (lower caste Hindus) in the same way as it is cheating them for more then hundred years, since the introduction of municipal elections in India by the British government.

Well these are among many promises that the liar politicians are giving to innocent people. My view is that don't trust them and that they neither have any will to do nor have capacity. Change in government in Haryana will only come with a Dalit-Bahujan government in the state but that will not come without social support from the communities outside the state that are wealthy and educated. Make a fund of hundred corore rupees for Dhamaa Prachaar in the state, organizing youths, send them to foreign countries for education and for Dhamma Diksha, develop Buddhist centers, spread English and Pali in the state and bring the social-cultural change in the state as was brought by Kanshi Ram ji in Uttar Pradesh.
